What are your hours of operation?

Our hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 7am-7pm. After hours availability may vary during peak season. We are closed on Sundays.

What areas do you service?

We service Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland areas. Our service areas included Lake, Porter, and Laporte counties. We also service the City of Chicago and surrounding suburbs.

What can you power wash?

When do you perform power washing services?

Our service is entirely dependent on the local weather forecast. Our peak season is March through December. We are able to power wash if the outside temperature is above 36 degrees.

How often should I have my house washed?

We recommend having your house washed at least once per year. This provides consistent protection from harmful algae, mold, and other contaminants. Who wouldn’t want a fresh, clean house?

How long does power washing take?

Every job is unique. The time it takes to power wash is dependent on many factors such as temperature, size of the project, and type of work being performed. Our crews will work in a diligent and timely manner to complete the project.

How much does power washing cost?

Square footage, scope of work, and schedule availability play a major role in calculating the cost of your project. Our sales representatives provide quotes and schedule service all over the phone. No in-person estimates required.

Are Blustream’s solutions safe for plants, animals, and the environment?

Yes! We take extra precaution to ensure your landscaping, pets, and other vegetation is protected during the service. Our solutions are 100% biodegradable.

Will high pressure washing damage my home?

Yes it will. We use a soft washing cleaning method to ensure no damage is done to your home. Soft washing uses low-pressure and specialized house cleaning solutions to safely clean your home. We never use high pressure when cleaning residential homes.

Are you Licensed, Bonded, and Insured?

We are licensed, bonded, and insured for your protection. We will always show proof of insurance upon request.

Scheduling

Do I need to be home for my services?

For your convenience, you do not need to be home. Our only request is that you make sure all windows and doors are properly secured on the date of service and that our technicians have access to a working water spigot.

When do technicians typically arrive at my home?

Blustream Power Wash technicians strive to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time. Since each technician performs several jobs per day, we cannot guarantee an accurate time. They will always give you a courtesy call or text should any issues arise.

What happens if it rains on my day of service?

Our technicians work in the wind and rain.  Extreme weather conditions may cause us to reschedule your service. In the event that this happens, our scheduling department will reach out to reschedule your service.

How will I know my service is complete?

After completion of your service, our technicians will walk around the property with you to ensure the work completed is satisfactory. If you are not home, the technicians will notify you via call or text that the work is completed. Before and after pictures are available upon request.

Service Specific

What is soft washing?

Soft washing is a cleaning method that uses lower pressure (under 1000 PSI) and specialized chemicals (typically bleach, water, and surfactants) to safely remove mildew, bacteria, algae, and other organic growths from your home exteriors. The biodegradable chemicals used during the cleaning process won’t damage your home or surrounding landscape.

How long does house washing take?

Depending on the size of your home, house washing can typically take anywhere from 45 minutes to 3 hours.

Does Blustream Power Wash use my water?

Yes, we do need access to a working water spigot in order to complete the service.

I have well water. Is that OK?

Yes, it is more than okay. Our technicians are trained to handle any type of water supply source using our soft washing technique.

I do not have a working water spigot. Is this an issue?

No, it is not! Our crews arrive with pre-filled water tanks. Please let us know prior to quoting if the property does not have a working water source.

What is the “green stuff” on my siding?

The “green stuff” on your siding is most likely algae, mildew, and or mold. Typically, the North and East facing sides have algae growth because it receives the least amount of sunlight throughout the day. If left untreated, the algae can cause long-term damage to your home's exterior.

What are the dark streaks on my roof?

The black streaks on your roof are an infestation known as Gloeocapsa Magma. This algae eats away at the limestone filler in your shingles, leaving behind a dark residue. Our roof treatment is designed to remove these black streaks completely.

Does Blustream Power Wash clean windows?

During the house washing process, the exterior of your windows is soaped and rinsed However, we do not squeegee or dry them by hand.

Do you have a guarantee?

Yes! We guarantee to always come to your home or business with the best equipment, professional and prompt customer service, and a smile.

How can I pay for my power washing services?

During the scheduling process, we will place your debit or credit card on file. Payment will not be due until after the job is completed. We will also send you an invoice to your email where you can pay online with just one click.

What payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards. In addition, we accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and Chase Quickpay payments.
